Abstract:
Disclosed is a collision prevention support device including a display device installed on a first moving body, that superimposes an image on an actual scene; an information acquisition device that measures a position and a speed of a second moving body existing in a vicinity of the first moving body; and a size measuring device that measures a size of the second moving body. Further comprised is a path position predicting device that includes a first predicting device that predicts a position and a path after a set time of the first moving body; and a second first predicting device that predicts a position and a path after a set time of the second moving body. An image creation device creates a vehicle image of the first moving body at the predicted position of the first moving body according to the predicted position, and a vehicle image of the second moving body obtained from the size measuring device, at the predicted position of the second moving body, and outputs these to the display device. This enables display of a safe position after the set time of the first moving body.
