Abstract:
Provided are a culture medium information registration system and the like which enable colonies to be detected accurately even when there are individual differences or variations in the conditions, and the like, for colony generation and in the color of the culture medium. A sanitation management system (S) is provided with a configuration in which: (1) on the basis of the feature values of pixels forming a prescribed target region of a culture medium image in which a film-type culture medium (60) is imaged, non-colony pixels, which differ from colony pixels used for imaging colonies, are identified and the color feature values thereof are identified; and (2) on the basis of the color feature values of the identified non-colony pixels, colony pixels in the culture medium image are detected and colonies are detected.
