Abstract:
The present invention creates a color correction table which enables highly precise correction in a mixed color region even when the number of measured colors is small. This color correction table creating method for creating a color correction table by which a device dependent value as printing data to be inputted to a printing device is corrected, comprises: an output-value acquisition step for acquiring, as an output value, a result of colorimetry of a printed matter that has been created by inputting a predetermined device dependent value to the printing device; an input-value acquisition step for acquiring, as an input value in the color correction, a device dependent value for achieving the acquired output value on a printed matter created by a reference printing device; a correction-value acquisition step for acquiring the predetermined device dependent value as a correction value corresponding to the input value; and a creation step for creating the color correction table by using the relationship between the input value and the correction value.
