The present invention relates to a color cosmetic composition and, more specifically, to a color cosmetic composition and a method for preparing the same, wherein the spreadability of the color cosmetic composition is improved to attain softness and smoothness thereof, thereby enabling smooth expression of skin makeup and exhibiting excellent adhesion. Specifically, the present invention relates to a color cosmetic composition comprising a spherical powder, a silicone powder, and sericite. The color cosmetic composition of the present invention has excellent molding stability and dropping stability while having both excellent spreadability and adhesion with respect to the skin. In addition, the color cosmetic composition of the present invention has no makeup coagulation caused by coagulation of particles, and exhibits excellent skin expressiveness since a curved portion is not embossed or highlighted through smooth expression of skin makeup.
