Abstract:
The present invention provides a color display device (D) having excellent designability and high luminance, which comprises a colored light-transmitting base material (10), a light-blocking base material, and a light source unit (30) that is at least partially arranged between the colored light-transmitting base material (10) and the light-blocking base material (20). The colored light-transmitting base material (10) has a total light transmittance of 18% or less; and the light source unit (30) is arranged such that the light emitted therefrom transmits through the colored light-transmitting base material (10).
