Abstract:

A color filter is provided with: a substrate which transmits light; and colored layers which are formed by inkjet ink, are arranged on lattice points that are virtual points in a plurality of virtual lattice patterns arranged with a first pitch in a first direction and a second pitch in a second direction on the substrate, and are apart from each other in the first direction and the second direction. When, in each row of the plurality of lattice patterns arranged in the first direction, the maximum value of a positional displacement amount in the first direction between the center of the colored layer and the lattice point is denoted by δmax, the minimum value thereof is denoted by δmin, and a value obtained by averaging δmax-δmin over the lattice patterns arranged in the first direction is defined as a colored layer positional displacement range E, the colored layer positional displacement range E is 1-10 μm inclusive. In each column of the plurality of lattice patterns arranged in the second direction, the position of the center of the colored layer in the first direction periodically changes with respect to the lattice point.
