Abstract:
Disclosed is a color filter for semi-transmissive liquid crystal displays,
which is obtained by forming a color pixel on a transparent substrate. This color
filter for semi-transmissive liquid crystal displays is characterized in that
the color pixel has a transmissive portion and a reflective portion arranged
adjacent to the transmissive portion, and the film thickness of a colored resin
layer of the reflective portion is not more than 40% of the film thickness of a colored
resin layer of the transmissive portion.
