Abstract:
This color metallic pigment comprises at least: a metallic pigment; an amorphous silicon oxide membrane layer formed on the surface of the metallic pigment; a metal oxide layer comprising a metal oxide other than silicon oxide, and formed on the surface of the amorphous silicon oxide membrane layer; and metal particles formed on the surface of the metal oxide layer. This color metallic pigment is characterized in that the metal particles are formed so as to directly coat a part of the metal oxide layer.
