Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a color printer capable of feeding paper properly for printing in any of a variety of colors. [Solution] A color printer is configured such that a plurality of print units provided with a plurality of heads are serially disposed along a paper conveyance path. The color printer comprises the following: a print color instruction acquisition means (S11) which receives instructions relating to the printing color; and a print start position control means (S12-S18) that, in accordance with the print color related to the instructions received by the print color instruction acquisition means (S11), variably controls print start position, which is the position on the conveyance path at which the paper is to be positioned when printing starts.
