Abstract:
Provided is a color processing device that makes it possible to obtain, with high precision, the color that a fluorescent-component-containing sample would be under an arbitrary observation light source. Said color processing device computes the spectral reflectivity, including the fluorescent component, that the sample would exhibit under a target light source. The color processing device has: a first means whereby spectral radiances, said spectral radiances including an excitation wavelength range, and corresponding fluorescence levels of the sample are inputted for a plurality of waveform types; a second means which obtains the fluorescence level the sample would exhibit under the target light source, using the spectral radiance of the target light source, including the excitation wavelength range, and the aforementioned inputted spectral radiances and fluorescence levels; a third means whereby the spectral reflectivity of the sample, not including the fluorescent component, is inputted; and a fourth means which uses the obtained fluorescence level the sample would exhibit under the target light source, and the inputted spectral reflectivity not including the fluorescent component of the sample, to obtain the spectral reflectivity of the sample under the target light source, including the fluorescent component.
