Abstract:
Red, Green and Blue are sampled and measured by A{u1-uA}-number,
B{v1-vB}-number and C{w1-wC}-number,
respectively, and interpolation equations are determined from A x B x C-number
of three dimensional (L*, a*, b*) data obtained. At first, an A-number of sequence-of-point
data of 3 x B x C dimensions are least-square approximated to determine an Mu-number
of control points of 3 x B x C dimensions. Next, a B-number of sequence-of-point
data of 3 x C x Mu dimensions are least-square approximated to determine an Mv-number
of control points of 3 x C x Mu dimensions. Subsequently, a C-number of sequence-of-point
data of 3 x Mu x Mv dimensions are least-square approximated to determine an Mw-number
of control points of 3 x Mu x Mv dimensions. The output values (L*, a*, b*) for the
arbitrary input values (Red, Green, Blue) can be obtained by the final Mu x Mv x
Mw-number of control points of three-dimensions and the interpolation equations
according to the basic functions used in the least-square approximations.
