Abstract:
Provided is a method of manufacturing an organic EL element 1, the method comprising a step, performed in a period after a light emitting layer 11 is formed in a first forming step and before forming of a cathode layer 17 is started in a second forming step, of adjusting an optical cumulative illuminance which is the product of the illuminance of light with which the light emitting layer 11 is irradiated and that does not include wavelengths shorter than or equal to 500 nm, and the time of optical irradiation.
