Abstract:
A color wheel assembly and projection device. The color wheel assembly comprises: a color wheel disc (101) used to receive a laser beam; a color wheel shaft (103) arranged perpendicularly to the center location of the color wheel disc (101), and having one end fixed to the color wheel disc (101); a motor (102) used to drive the color wheel disc (101) and the color wheel shaft (103), wherein the color wheel shaft (103) is sleeved into the motor (102); and a heat insulation layer (104) sleeved around a surface of the color wheel shaft (103). By isolating the color wheel shaft to modify the structure of the color wheel, the configuration of the color wheel assembly and projection device can reduce the temperature of the color wheel shaft (103), and increase operating efficiency and service life of the color wheel shaft (103) without affecting the normal operation of the color wheel.
