Abstract:
A colorant composition which, upon adhesion to a fibrous object, e.g., a cloth or nonwoven fabric, does not pose problems such as blurring and can be removed by simple washing with water (laundering). The colorant composition comprises a coloring pigment, a pigment-dispersing resin, a removable resin which has the ability to be removed with water after drying at ordinary temperature (25°C), and water. The removable resin comprises at least 10 wt.% polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of saponification of 75-98 mol% and a viscosity of 30.0 mPa·sec or lower (4% aqueous solution, 20°C).
