Abstract:
Provided is a colorant dispersion containing a colorant, a dispersant, and a solvent, wherein: the dispersant is a graft copolymer having a constituent unit represented by general formula (I) below and a constituent unit represented by general formula (II) below, and/or a salt-type graft copolymer obtained by the formation of a salt via a specific compound and at least a portion of the nitrogen sites of the constituent unit, represented by general formula (I), in the graft copolymer; "Polymer" in general formula (II) represents a polymer chain; and the constituent units of the polymer chain include a constituent unit represented by general formula (III). (The symbols in general formulas (I), (II), and (III) are as described in the description.)
