Abstract:
Provided are: a colored composition which, even when stored in a low-temperature environment over a long period, is capable of forming films inhibited from having defects; and a film, a color filter, a solid imaging element, and an image display device each obtained using the colored composition. The colored composition comprises a metallic azo pigment, a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond group, and a solvent. The metallic azo pigment comprises at least one kind of anions selected from among azo compounds represented by formula (I) and azo compounds which are tautomers for said azo compounds, two or more kinds of metal ions, and a melamine compound. In formula (I), R1 and R2 are each independently OH or NR5R6, R3 and R4 are each independently =O or =NR7, and R5 to R7 are each independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.
