Abstract:
A colorimetry calculation method for a display and a chrominance calculation method. A display comprises a quantum dot backlight module (10) and a first polaroid (20) disposed at a light exit side of the quantum dot backlight module (10). The quantum dot backlight module (10) comprises a light guide plate (11), a quantum dot thin film layer (12) disposed at a light exit side of the light guide plate (11), and a backlight source (13) disposed at a light entrance side of the light guide plate (11). In the colorimetry calculation method, a correction frequency spectrum of the quantum dot backlight module (10) is acquired by means of a reference polaroid (30) so as to acquire, according to the correction frequency spectrum and the measurement frequency spectrum acquired by measuring the quantum dot backlight module (10), an actual frequency spectrum, i.e., a corrected frequency spectrum, of the quantum dot backlight module (10) when the first polaroid (20) is disposed at the light exit side of the quantum dot backlight module (10), thereby precisely simulating a colorimetric shift phenomenon caused by secondary excitation of the first polaroid (20), provided a basis for quantitative design of the display comprising the quantum dot backlight module (10).
