Abstract:
Provided is a coloring composition which is capable of forming a cured film that is suppressed in the formation of needle-like crystals. Also provided are: a cured film which utilizes the coloring composition; a color filter; a pattern forming method; a method for producing a color filter; a solid-state imaging element; and an image display device. A coloring composition which contains a coloring agent and a compound having an epoxy group, and wherein: the coloring agent contains a halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment; the content of phthalimide relative to the total solid content in the coloring composition is 0.01-5% by mass; the content of the coloring agent relative to the total solid content in the coloring composition is 60-80% by mass; and the content of the halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment relative to the total solid content in the coloring composition is 35-80% by mass.
