Coloring resin particles comprising resin particles derived from a single or multiple kinds of polymerizable vinyl monomers, and a coating layer that covers the surfaces of the resin particles and comprises a polymer derived from a nitrogen-containing aromatic compound as a coloring agent. The coating layer has a thickness of 30-300 nm.
