Abstract:
A pixel included in image data serves as a reference pixel, pixels sharing pixel values which are the same as or similar to those of the reference pixel are identified as shared pixels, and, for the pixels identified as shared pixels, it is possible to reduce colour calculation processing in the shared pixels by using the colour of the reference pixel as a colour determination result for the shared pixels. It is therefore possible to provide a colour determination device and the like which operate at a higher speed. As a consequence, it is possible to provide a colour determination device and the like which can operate at a high speed, by reducing the number of times colour calculation processing is performed for an input image.
