A colour lamp tube comprises a transparent and tubular outer envelope, and red, green and blue light-emitting tubes of three primary colours, which are installed in the outer envelope. Each of three light-emitting tubes has two electrodes, which are lead out through a pin at two ends of the envelope, respectively. The three light-emitting tubes are arranged such that the three light-emitting tubes show a shape, when seen from a cross-section of the envelope. The pins are fixed onto an insulating tubular cap. On one cap, there are three pins that are respectively connected to one electrode of red, green and blue light-emitting tubes, and there are also three pins on the other cap, which are respectively connected to the other electrode of red, green and blue light-­emitting tubes. Wherein, the red light-emitting tube is the furthest from an outer edge of the envelope. Since a multi-lens or multi-prism structure is used in an inner-­wall of the envelope, there are a better mixed effect of the three colour lights, the resource is the more economical, and the service life of the lamp tube is longer. The electrodes of three light-emitting tubes are lead out through the pins at the envelope, so that the lamp tube may be conveniently mounted, maintained, and exchanged.
