Abstract:
A colour recognition method and system (100), belonging to the technical field of machine vision. By calculating normalised colour data of a target pixel point relative to a reference background and according to the normalised colour data of the target pixel point and normalised colour data of a plurality of pre-stored standard samples, the correlation between a colour value of the target pixel point and a colour value of each standard sample of the plurality of pre-stored standard samples is calculated (S103); and a colour value, the correlation thereof with the colour value of the target pixel point being the highest, of a standard sample is selected and is identified as a real colour value of the target pixel point (S104). The colour value of a target substance is recognised under the conditions of good data stability, high accuracy and low cost.
