Abstract:
A columnar-object-state detection device according to an embodiment is for detecting the state of a columnar object and comprises: an acquisition means for acquiring central axis data that is a sequence of coordinate values for central points of the columnar object in the horizontal direction at a plurality of prescribed heights on the columnar object, an approximated formula calculation means for calculating an approximated correction formula for correcting the coordinate values of the central axis data acquired by the acquisition means by fitting a curve to the sequence of the coordinate values of the central axis data acquired by the acquisition means, and a correction means for correcting the coordinate values of the central axis data using the approximated correction formula calculated by the approximated formula calculation means.
