Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition which inhibits MEIS proteins which are effective in proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells. The present invention provides a formulation, which can easily pass through the cell membrane and carry out its activity in the cell, and which can inhibit MEIS activity in a dose dependent manner. Furthermore, the invention can induce ex vivo expansion of mouse, human umbilical cord blood and human bone marrow HSCs. In addition, in vivo application of the invention triggers hematopoietic stem cell expansion in bone marrow and peripheral blood.
