Disclosed in the present invention are a combination switch system integrated with driver monitoring, and a control method. The solution comprises a combination switch unit and a monitoring unit; the combination switch unit and the monitoring unit are integrated on a same mainboard; the combination switch unit independently performs combination switch control; and the monitoring unit cooperates with the combination switch unit to perform driver monitoring. The present solution integrates a combination switch and a driver monitoring distributed system, wherein a camera and an image recognition algorithm controller are integrated into a combination switch unit, and therefore the present solution can independently complete image analysis and output, by means of a communication module, a monitoring result signal to a vehicle control unit; the circuit structure of the disclosed system is simple such that interferences of signals during transmission processes can be reduced, thus greatly improving the reliability of circuits.
