Abstract:
Provided is a combination-type link actuation device capable of performing work with two link actuation devices being positioned close to each other, thereby making the device compact as a whole. The combination-type link actuation device (1) comprises a combination of two link actuation devices (7). The link actuation devices (7) link a base-end-side link hub (12) to a tip-end-side link hub (13)so as to be able to change the posture thereof via circumferentially arranged three sets of link mechanisms (14), and a posture control actuator (10) for arbitrarily changing the posture of the tip-end-side link hub (13) with respect to the base-end-side link hub (12) is disposed on two or more sets of link mechanisms (14) among the three sets of link mechanisms (14). Among separation angles (δ1, δ2, δ3) between the three sets of link mechanisms (14) in the circumferential direction, at least one separation angle (δ) has a value in excess of 120˚. The two link actuation devices (7) are arranged such that the sections of the two sets of link mechanisms (14) with a separation angle (δ1) in excess of 120˚ are made to face each other.
