Abstract:
This combination weighing device is provided with a retaining part having a retaining area for temporarily retaining articles, a plurality of hoppers for receiving some of the articles retained in the retaining area and temporarily storing the articles, a weighing unit for outputting weighed values corresponding to the weights of the articles stored in the hoppers, a control unit for selecting a weighed value combination from among the plurality of weighed values that have been weighed by the weighing unit and associated with the plurality of hoppers such that the total value of the combination is a target weighed value and causing the hoppers corresponding to the combination to discharge the articles, a detection unit for detecting the retention state of the articles retained in the retaining area, and an area setting unit for using the retention state detected by the detection unit to set, for the articles in the retaining area, a standard area corresponding to the amount of articles to be provided to at least one hopper.
