Abstract:
A combine that, when a feed chain is rotated, enables easy engagement and disengagement
between a sprocket shaft and an input shaft while preventing harvested stalks
with ears from being caught into an engagement/disengagement part between the
sprocket shaft and the input shaft. The sprocket shaft (74) of a drive sprocket
(52) of the feed chain (6) and the input shaft (65) installed in a machine frame
side transmission mechanism for transmitting a power from an engine (20) to the
sprocket shaft (74) are adapted so that they can be engaged with and disengaged
from each other. A hollow cylindrical member (38) is installed on the outer periphery
of the engagement/disengagement part (66).
