Abstract:
The present invention relates to a combined bed and desk unit. The combined bed and desk unit includes a bed (10), in which a mattress (14) is provided on a base (12), and a desk (20), which is arranged below and separately from the bed (10) such that the bed for sleeping, the desk for studying, and a table for having a meal or performing another function on the bed can be used in combination and through conversion as the need arises in a narrow indoor space, such as a personal study room. A rotatable plate (30) is installed on the base (12) of the bed (10) so as to be convertible into a back plate, the table, or an auxiliary base by means of a rotatable arm (32). An upper plate (22) is installed on the desk (20) such that the height thereof can be adjusted so as to be in an upper position and a lower position. Accordingly, when the unit is used as a desk, the rotatable plate (30) is erected so as to become the back plate of a chair and the upper plate (22) of the desk is in the upper position. When the unit is used as a bed, the upper plate (22) of the desk is in the lower position and the rotatable plate (30) is placed on the upper plate (12) of the desk. When the unit is used as a table, the rotatable plate (30) is rotated horizontally on the mattress (12) so as to be parallel to the mattress and converted for another application and used for another purpose.
