Abstract:
Disclosed is a combined chlorine agent with a formulation comprising a low free chlorine concentration and a high combined chlorine concentration, which enables high combined chlorine concentration even when free chlorine concentration is reduced by adding the formulation to an aqueous medium; an efficient manufacturing method therefor; and a chlorine treatment method in low free chlorine concentration conditions using same. A combined chlorine agent comprises an aqueous solution formulation containing an alkali consisting of an alkali metal hydroxide, sulfamic acid, and a chlorine oxidising agent. In the aqueous solution formulation, the content of sulfamic acid and chlorine oxidising agent Cl/N is 0.45-0.6 (molar ratio), and the content of alkali and chlorine oxidising agent Cl/alkali metal is 0.3-0.4 (molar ratio). The free chlorine concentration of the aqueous solution formulation is 2 wt% or less of the total chlorine concentration.
