Abstract:
A combined cycle electric power generation plant in which a loss of heat that can be recovered by a waste heat recovery boiler is eliminated to achieve high heat recovery efficiency. The combined cycle electric power generation plant has the waste heat recovery boiler (30) using heat of exhaust gas from a gas turbine (10) to generate vapor for driving a vapor turbine (20); a cooling-air cooler (71) for allowing heat exchange between high-pressure supply water supplied from a low-pressure economizer (37) of the waste heat recovery boiler (30) and turbine-cooling compressed air, extracted from a compressor (11) of the gas turbine (10), to heat the high-pressure supply water to cool the compressed air; and a fuel gas heater (72) for further cooling the compressed air by allowing heat exchange between the compressed air cooled by the cooling-air cooler (71) and fuel gas of the gas turbine (10) to heat the fuel gas.
