Abstract:
A personal therapy or sauna compartment (10) is formed with a base (12), that has a support bed (12, 26) on the interior of the base (12) in which a person can lie. A cover (14) is provided over the base (12) and covers the body of a person lying in the bed (12, 26), with the head of the person outside of the cover (14) . The bed (12) is supported above massage shower heads that provide massage water impingement upwardly against the back of the person on the bed (12, 26). The cover (14) has large translucent side panels (61, 62) for the majority of the sides of the panels (61, 62), and is supported on a central spine frame (60) pivoted at a foot end to the base (12), with a hoop (90) at its open or head end. The cover (14) hinges to open and close relative to the base (12).
