Abstract:
The invention discloses a combined gas ring for reciprocating piston ring-piston assembly. The combined gas ring includes elastic groove-ring (1), cap-ring (2), zero to several upper steel disc-ring (3) and enclosure piece (7). Under the assembled state of the gas ring with piston and cylinder, the cut-out (11) of groove-ring (1) and the cut-out (15) of cap-ring (2) stagger around their periphery. The enclosure piece (7) is located at the cut-out (11) of groove-ring (1), so that the cut-out (11) is enclosed by the enclosure piece. The invention also discloses a piston and piston ring assembly with the combined gas ring. Because there isn't leakage passage in the gas ring, gas-tight and oil control ability is good, the shortage of heating piston and destroying oil film is eliminated. Using the invention of combined gas ring can improve the engine performance and attain the piston structure with one gas ring and one oil ring.
