Title:
COMBINED TIDAL/WIND POWER GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/074278
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In absolute terms, there is a global shortage of energy. Petroleum-caused global warming and air pollution are worsening, causing climatic anomalies in every corner of the world. With large rotating blades, the provided combined tidal/wind power generator can receive energy from rivers, marine currents, and winds that flow naturally all over the Earth, turn that into rotational energy, and obtain electrical energy. Clean energy from rivers, tidal currents, and the force of tides coming in and out can be turned into electricity, thereby preventing global warming, stimulating industry and the economy, and sustainably securing large amounts of cheap energy, which will improve our diets and living environments while also providing good environments for animals and plants.
