A combined sensitive-word detection method and apparatus, and a cluster, which are used for improving the accuracy of sensitive-word detection. In the present application, a detection apparatus acquires a combined sensitive-word expression which is provided by a user, and then parses the combined sensitive-word expression, which is provided by the user, so as to generate user combined sensitive-word entries. The user combined sensitive-word entries and preset candidate combined sensitive-word entries are stored in a combined sensitive-word library. The detection apparatus performs, on the basis of the combined sensitive-word library, detection on collected text to be subjected to detection, so as to obtain a first matching result, which indicates a matched combined sensitive-word entry; and the detection apparatus presents the first matching result to the user. The combined sensitive-word library comprises some combined sensitive-word entries, and these combined sensitive-word entries comprise the pre-configured candidate combined sensitive-word entries in addition to the user combined sensitive-word entries, such that the first matching result meets a user requirement and also reflects potential combined sensitive-word entries, thereby ensuring accuracy.
