Abstract:
A combined sensor where an angular velocity sensor and an acceleration sensor are combined to reduce a mounting area and to reduce the size of a mounting substrate. The combined sensor has two drive arms (2) connected to a frame body (12) and a bending arm (4) connected to connection sections (16) of the frame body (12), at which connection sections the frame body (12) and the drive arms (2) are connected. The frame body (12) has a facing section (18) facing the connection sections (16) and two connection sections (22) for connecting both the facing section (18) and the connection sections (16). The connection sections (22) and the drive arms (2) are driven and vibrated against each other, bending vibration of the bending arm (4) varied depending on Coriolis force is detected to calculate angular velocity, and driving vibration of the connection sections (22), which driving vibration is caused by stress applied to the connection sections (22), is detected to calculate acceleration.
