Abstract:

The present invention relates to a combined smoothie maker and juicer comprising: a lid forming a receiving opening through which foodstuffs are introduced; a screw for cutting, grinding, or pressing the introduced food and conveying the food downward, and having a vertically formed rotating shaft; a housing having a pulp discharge hole and residue discharge hole spaced apart from each other in the outer surface of the housing, having the screw rotating therein, defining a housing discharge hole in the floor thereof that communicates with the residue discharge hole, and being coupled at the bottom of the lid; a sieve drum designed to enclose the screw, having the sidewall thereof formed entirely or partially in the form of a mesh, and defining a sieve drum discharge hole communicating with the residue discharge hole; a drive body having a receiving portion formed on the top thereof on which the housing is received, and having a driveshaft formed in the center of the receiving portion and connected to the rotating shaft to drive the screw; and a pulp opening/closing piece for opening/closing the pulp discharge hole, wherein with the pulp discharge hole in a closed state, introduced food is cut, ground, or pressed and circulated through the top and bottom sides of the sieve drum, and the residue is partitioned within the sieve drum.
