Abstract:
A combined step comprising steel and plastic materials for use in an escalator comprises a landing board made of a reinforced plastic material and a frame made of a high strength steel. The landing board comprises a tread (1) and a riser (2). A back surface of the tread (1) is provided with a first protruding platform (11) and a second protruding platform (12) extending in a length direction. One side of the riser (2) is provided with a first tab member (21) and a second tab member (22) extending in a width direction. The landing board is integrally formed by hot compression molding. The frame is connected and fixed to the first protruding platform (11) and the second protruding platform (12). The frame comprises a left support (3), a right support (4), a first connection member (5), and a second connection member (6). The left support (3) and the right support (4) are used to support the landing board. The first connection member (5) and the second connection member (6) are used to connect the left support (3) with the right support (4). Both the left support (3) and the right support (4) have a triangular shape. Each of the left support (3) and the right support (4) is provided with a main wheel shaft base (7) and an auxiliary wheel shaft base. The step of the invention has a light weight, high strength and low costs, and can be processed easily.
