Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for cancer treatment through combined administration of a Lactobacillus plantarum strain and an anticancer drug. The Lactobacillus plantarum strain or a culture solution of the strain can inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells or induce the death of cancer cells, and also has a synergistic effect on inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells and tumors when administered in combination with the anticancer drug, and thus can be effectively used, in the form of a pharmaceutical composition or a health functional food, for preventing, treating or alleviating cancer.
