Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of vibration suppression systems, and more particularly, relates to a combined torsional vibration control system for a bridge, comprising: an enclosure body; an active control module; and two passive control modules. The enclosure body mainly comprises side plates, a top plate, a base plate, two vertical partitions, a cover plate and a main force transmission plate. The active control module comprises an installation base, a driving device, a speed changer, a rotary shaft, a rotational inertia disc and a flange. The passive control module comprises a suspension damper and a mass block. In the present invention, rotation of a rotational inertia dis of a system is controlled according to actual movement of a structure, thereby providing an appropriate force to act upon a bridge to achieve vibration control. The system of the present invention also employs passive control modules that cooperate with an active control module to form a combined control system capable of favorably controlling translational and torsional vibrations of a bridge.
