A combing machine comprises, consecutively mounted, a mechanism for feeding the fibrous product to be processed comprising in turn a transporter (1) and a pair of feeding rollers (3), and a needle field consisting of working elements. The working elements consist of consecutively mounted needle rollers (4) oriented perpendicularly to the direction of movement of the fibrous product along the whole zone of its processing. The number of the needles (5) of the rollers (4) increases in the direction of movement of the fibrous product and each consecutive roller (4) rotates at a speed exceeding the linear speed of rotation of the previous roller (4). The needles (5) are mounted inclined in relation to the external surface of the rollers (4) so that during their rotation the point of each needle (5) is oriented in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation. The combing machine comprises also a means for introducing the fibrous product into the needle field shaped as a comb (6) whose teeth are located between the needle rollers (4), and whose slots are provided with sharp edges shaped as scraping knives. A discharging mechanism (9) with a pair of stretching rollers (7) is mounted after the needle field.
