Abstract:
This combustible gas detection device is provided with a power control circuit which performs control for switching the conduction state of a heating resistor every fixed time period such that the heating resistor assumes resistance values corresponding to each of two set temperatures set in advance, and with a gas concentration calculation unit which, provided with the heating resistor and with a resistance temperature detector arranged on the same substrate and having a resistance value varying with the environmental temperature, calculates the concentration of a combustible gas using both the voltage between the two ends of the heating resistor detected when the heating resistor is powered and also the environmental temperature which is based on the voltage change generated by changes in the resistance value of the resistance temperature detector. The time period is set in advance to a time in which the environmental temperature change amount generated by the power control circuit switching the heating resistor conduction state is within 0.5°C.
