Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a combustion apparatus having a resonance chamber that allows quiet operation of a combustion apparatus, such as a boiler or a water heater, by effectively reducing the noise inside the combustion chamber by using resonance, the noise being generated during the flow of a mixture consisting of air supplied by a blower to the burner side and a combustible gas. To achieve the purpose, the combustion apparatus, according to the present invention, comprises: a burner for burning the mixture consisting of air supplied by the blower and a combustible gas; and a combustion chamber in which the combustion by the burner takes place, wherein the resonance chamber is disposed on the fluid passageway between the blower and the burner.
