Abstract:
Disclosed is a combustion apparatus in which the emission of N2O that is generated upon the combustion of a specific nitrogen-containing fuel can be controlled.  The combustion apparatus comprises: a decomposition particles supply unit (3) which supplies decomposition particles capable of decomposing N2O into the apparatus; an N2O concentration meter (8a) which measures the N2O concentration in an exhaust gas; and a control unit (10) which compares the measurement value of the N2O concentration with a predetermined control value and controls the feed rate of the decomposition particles based on the results of the comparison. In the apparatus, the emission of N2O can be controlled efficiently by supplying a proper amount of the decomposition particles.
