Abstract:

This combustion device uses combustion air to cause the combustion of fuel ammonia within a combustor (2), and is equipped with a catalyst reduction unit (4) for reducing nitrogen oxides in combustion exhaust gas supplied from the combustor, with at least a portion of the fuel ammonia being supplied to the catalyst reduction unit as a reducing agent for the nitrogen oxides in the combustion exhaust gas.
