Abstract:
Provided is a combustion device for a melting furnace, which can satisfactorily heat an object to be melted and the ceiling of a melting furnace, using the heat of radiation from combustion flame. In a fuel injection nozzle (12) which injects gas fuel to a combustion space above the region in a melting tank (2) where the object to be melted is located, a plurality of fuel injection units (F1, F2) are disposed one above the other and are provided with a plurality of fuel injection ports (13, 14) horizontally arranged when viewed in the fuel injection direction. The plurality of fuel injection ports (13, 14) of the fuel injection units (F1, F2) are formed so as to be radially arranged when viewed from the side surface and so that the direction (B) of a line extending at an angle bisecting the angle between the fuel injection direction of the uppermost fuel injection ports (13) and the fuel injection direction of the lowermost fuel injection ports (14), is directed obliquely upward. Among the plurality of fuel injection units (F1, F2), the fuel injection ports (13) of the upper fuel injection unit (F1) are radially arranged in a plan view.
