Title:
COMBUSTION DEVICE FOR SOLID FUEL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/074364
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a combustion device which can stably generate high temperature combustion gas by continuously burning, instead of a liquid fuel or a gas fuel, a solid fuel, such as wood chips or waste wood, over a long period of time while maintaining high combustion efficiency by smoothly supplying combustion air to a combustion region. A cylindrical combustion tube body (2), which is smaller than a cylindrical exterior tube body (1) both in terms of diameter and height, is concentrically provided within the exterior tube body (1); an annular ash collecting space (3) is formed between the lower inner peripheral surface of the exterior tube body (1) and the outer peripheral surface of the combustion tube body (2); the upper edge of the exterior tube body (1) is provided with a fan (9), which is attached thereto in a position so as to supply air (A) towards the inscribed direction of the exterior tube body (1), and an inner-flange shaped flow guiding member (7b) which guides the flow of the supplied air (A) along the inner peripheral surface of the exterior tube body (1) by preventing the air (A) from flowing upwards; the center of the flow guiding member (7b) is provided with a discharge outlet (7a) for combustion gas (G). As a consequence, a solid fuel (F) is burned within the combustion tube body (2).
