Abstract:
Disclosed is a combustion pressure sensor for detecting the combustion pressure in a combustion chamber (Eb) of an internal combustion engine (E). The combustion pressure sensor is provided with: a hollow housing (2) which is attached to the internal combustion engine (E) in such a way that the tip end side is positioned on the combustion chamber (Eb) side; a transmission member (3) which is slidably inserted into a shaft hole (2h) in the housing (2) and has a tip-end pressure receiver (3p) that is exposed from a tip end section (2s) of the housing (2), and transmits the combustion pressure in the combustion chamber (Eb); a load detector (4) which is disposed at the rear end section of the transmission member (3) and detects changes in the load acting on the transmission member (3); and a bellows (5) through which the transmission member (3) passes, and whereof one end is fixed in a sealed state with respect to the tip end section (2s) of the housing (2), while the other end is fixed in a sealed state with respect to the tip-end pressure receiver (3p) which is exposed from the tip end section (2s) of the housing (2).
