Abstract:
The amount of change per unit time of an engine output command for controlling engine output of an internal combustion engine is calculated as an engine output rate of increase, and a power supply unit is controlled so that supply power corresponding to the calculated engine output rate of increase is supplied to a combustion promoter generator for generating a combustion promoter by means of the supply power from the power supplier and supplying the combustion promoter to a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine, the generated amount of combustion promoter increasing as the supply power increases, whereby the generated amount of combustion promoter is adjusted.
