Abstract:
This combustor for gas turbines comprises: a shell that is made from metal; a liner that disposed inside the shell and that is made from a ceramic matrix composite material, said liner having an inner surface which defines a combustion chamber, an outer surface which faces the opposite side from the combustion chamber, and at least one cooling hole which is open toward the combustion chamber; and a cooling chamber that is defined between the shell and the liner. The shell includes a cylindrical shell body and a sealing wall structure that protrudes toward the liner from the inner surface of the shell body.
